Cowboy Dinner Tree in Oregon absolutely lives up to its legendary reputation. With a near-perfect 4.9 rating on Google, it somehow still feels underrated once you experience it in person. I’d give it 5 out of 5 stars without hesitation - if I could give 6, I would. This place is all about the experience. It’s remote, rustic, and completely unpretentious in the best way. You come for a single purpose: a massive, perfectly cooked steak or roast beef dinner served with classic sides, and they execute it flawlessly. The portions are enormous, the meat is tender and flavorful and everything feels like a throwback to old-school Western dining done right. There’s no fancy menu, no overcomplication - just high-quality, straightforward food served in a setting that feels like stepping back in time. The hospitality is warm, the pace is relaxed and the whole experience encourages you to slow down and enjoy it

Well, it was our first time there. Certainly will NOT be our last. Our server Danni was simply spectacular. ( I know I probably didn't spell her name right) The food was amazing. The music was great. Can't say enough good things. The store was awesome too! If you get a chance- don't miss out! Great way to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary!

Worth the Drive! Took our 5 grandsons, ages 2 to 10. It was a great experience and wonderful food. People are so nice and accommodating. We ordered 2 steaks and one chicken. Enough left over for steak and eggs in the morning

absolutely amazing food well worth the price and the drive. They can take everything that you don’t need to go get seconds except on steak and potato. Beautiful at sunset. Great family place horse shoes and cornhole. gift shop is not all it’s cracked up to be figured. It would have a bunch of unique things in it gift items. Also there’s only a small porta potty not good for the handicap.

What an experience! Sure this place is a bit off the beaten path so to speak, sure you have to make reservations, sure it's cash only, sure it's wildly rustic... It's also super charming, fun to get to, and beautiful. The grounds are fun to walk around, play some games and take a walk through the gift shop. This place offers free first come RV, van, camping across the street, there's a nice buck to use if needed, and there are multiple rustic cabins for a great price if you'd like to stay the night in style. Now for the important part, the food!!! What can I say, it's the best and biggest steak I've ever had! Perfectly cooked medium rare, so tasty, they offer chicken too, but we went came for the 30oz steak! You get a quart jar of pink lemonade (limited other options like unsweetened tea available), salad, fresh bread with freshly made butter, cowboy soup, baked potato with bacon, chives, sour cream, and cheese, a thick massive steak, and dessert. Cash only and currently $50+tip. Seriously I've been trying to get out here for 10 years, and it was so worth it. We already want to go back. Special props to the family/server/chef/staff. Everyone was polite and all smiles. Highly recommend. ❤️

A fun experience of a country western cowboy dinner. We aren't sure how, but we got the corn chowder while other tables got beans and the chowder was my favorite part of the meal. Food, service, and restaurant vibe were all great.

Too full to type, so delicious. We will be back. Plan your trip, RSVP - no walk ins, Cash 💵- no cards are excepted, and planning are required, especially if you’re not from the area. This place has such history, what was once a chuck wagon dinner stop under a juniper tree for the cowboys during cattle run is now The Cowboys Dinner Tree. Check out the history and fill up at this memorable spot.

An amazing meal! I would eat here again at twice the price! Very charming, rustic, setting! Our server was fantastic! Be sure to read their website before you go. Cash only. Either chicken or steak which you tell them when you make your reservation. The only decision you need to make when you get there is whether you’re drinking coffee, water, tea, or lemonade. You can get your steak cooked anyway you like as long as it is medium rare.😊. The steak is tender and delicious and a perfect medium rare. If you are high maintenance, and must have lots of options, this place isn’t for you. I can’t wait to go back!
